Anchorage Airport Supervisor

Position Summary

The role of the Airport Supervisor is to make sure the Airport Operations runs smoothly. The airport supervisor will be in charge of the guest service representatives in a fast paced environment. The supervisor will assist with greeting our guests off their flights, helping them with their luggage, and dispatching/calling up the vehicles when the time is right. The supervisor is the liaison between Managers and PAT field staff. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities of the Anchorage Airport Supervisor include but are not limited to:

  • ·         Greet and welcomes guests as they arrive at the Anchorage airport
  • ·         Supervise guest service representatives at the airport to ensure a smooth operation
  • ·         Dispatch airport shuttles and call up vehicles as needed
  • ·         Provide clear and concise directions to motorcoach drivers
  • ·         Generate, maintain, and update daily operations documents including manifests and schedules
  • ·         Handle and resolve any guest service issues
  • ·         Assist guests in filling out check-in documentation
  • ·         Assist in locating and expediting of lost or misplaced luggage
  • ·         Work closely with PAT field personnel
  • ·         Perform all other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

The Anchorage Airport Supervisor must meet the following criteria in order to be considered as an applicant:

  • ·         Be at least 18 years of age
  • ·         Be a U.S. Citizen or be able to provide verification of authorization to work in the U.S.
  • ·         Must be able to work mid-April thru September
  • ·         Be able to work in a team environment
  • ·         Have excellent guest service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
  • ·         Be able to respond to and provide solutions to common inquiries or complaints from guests
  • ·         Be able to lift 50-75 pounds repetitively and stand for extended periods of time
  • ·         Be able to work long hours
