Fairbanks Guest Service Representative

Position Summary

Fairbanks Guest Service Representatives greet, check-in, assist, and guide guests at the airport and hotels. They are the first and last employee met by our guests. Therefore, their performance is critical to the overall impression that guests have of Premier Alaska Tours.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate guest arrivals and departures at hotel properties and Airport
  • Greet and Welcome Guests
  • Provide guests with directions and necessary information
  • Handle and resolve guest service issues
  • Assist guests with their luggage at hotel properties and Airport
  • Assist in locating and expediting lost or misplaced luggage
  • Assist guest’s in completing damaged or misplaced luggage forms
  • Coordinate with hotel staff and other PAT field staff
  • Provide clear and concise directions to Motorcoach drivers
  • Assist Operations Office as needed
  • Perform other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications

Guest Service Representatives must meet the following criteria in order to be considered as applicants:

  • A US citizen or can provide verification of authorization to work in the US
  • 16 years of age at start of employment
  • Must be available to work from mid May through mid September
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Assist guests and systematically resolve issues
  • Work independently and as a member of a team
  • Must successfully complete provided van training program
  • Repeatedly lift and move 50-75 pounds
  • Work early morning, late evening, and/or week-end shifts


This position pays $10-$12/hour
