Position Summary – Housekeeper

The primary role of the Housekeeper at our Healy area property is to ensure rooms and common living areas are clean and ready for arriving guests guaranteeing a safe and comfortable stay.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Clean all units which include bedrooms, bathrooms and living spaces
  • Wipe down all tables, counters and other surfaces
  • Sweep and mop floors
  • Vacuum carpets and rugs
  • Collect and remove trash and debris in common areas
  • Change bed sheets and make beds
  • Replenish consumable items such as paper products etc…
  • Launder linens and towels
  • Respond to service calls
  • Organize and maintain storage areas
  • Report any safety hazards issues to supervisor
  • Identify and note any damages to furniture, appliances, etc…
  • Must be multi-task oriented, flexible, and friendly
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

 

Minimum Qualifications

Housekeeping must meet the following criteria in order to be considered as an applicant:

  • A US citizen or can provide verification of authorization to work in the US
  • At least 18 years of age at start of employment (or 15 years if local)
  • Must be available to work from mid-May through mid-September
  • Work early morning and/or weekend shifts
  • Must successfully complete provided van training program
  • Must provide a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record that meets PAT standards
  • Work independently and as a member of a team
  • Must have excellent guest service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
  • Must have excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time, walk up and down stairs, bend, stoop, squat, kneel and lift 50 pounds
  • Able to work and complete tasks with minimal supervision
  • 1 year experience preferred
  • Prefer someone local
