Position Summary
Wilderness Express is looking for Stockers to join our Rail Support team. Wilderness Express operates deluxe dome railcars pulled on the Denali Star Route traveling 350 miles between Anchorage and Fairbanks during the summer season. Position is available May through September.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities of the Rail Support – Train Stocker include but are not limited to:
- Stocking and rotating product on train cars
- washing dishes
- bagging ice
- breaking down boxes.
There is some flexibility with days worked (part time vs full time), but this is an overnight position. Hours will be approx. 11pm to 5am.
- Must possess or be able to obtain an Anchorage Food Workers certification.
- Must be 18 yrs of age by the start of the season.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed
