Position Summary
The Operations Coordinator plays a key role in supporting smooth, day-to-day operations in the Denali area. This position works behind the scenes supporting mainly staff by coordinating arrivals and departures, resolving logistical challenges, and working closely with internal teams and hotel partners to help staff deliver a seamless experience for guests.
Key Responsibilities
The Denali Operations Coordinator is a trusted presence for Tour Directors and Drivers, values teamwork and has a desire to help others. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Work closely with hotel staff to accurately organize, divide and distribute guest materials into correct tour groups
- Greet and welcome staff and guests upon arrival at the hotel property ensuring organized and welcoming transitions
- Assist staff/guests with luggage issues, tracking and resolution. Acts as liaison between hotel front desk agents and bell staff to ensure luggage is found and returned to the proper destination/guest.
- Provides assistance, solutions and/or recommendations to resolve any staff/guest issues or questions
- Provide shuttle support for staff/guests as necessary
- Provide positive staff and guest experience and service
- Demonstrate professional phone and email etiquette
- Be knowledgeable and proficient in all aspects of Coordinator duties which include PAT front desk operations, Park Connection expeditor functions, WEX onboarding operations, housekeeping and if needed special event assistance
- Maintain a friendly, professional demeanor
- Performs other duties as required
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following criteria in order to be considered as an applicant:
- A US citizen or can provide verification of authorization to work in the US
- 21 years of age at start of employment
- Available to work from May through mid-September
- Work early morning, late evening and/or weekend shifts
- Ability to work independently, as a member of a small close-knit team and with employees from other companies
- Successfully complete provided van training program
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Excellent guest service skills with clear and professional communication
- Flexibility and ability to pivot quickly as operational needs change
- Be very friendly
